Child Development in Education.  Integrating Neuroscience with Education Conference

The conference brings together world renowned speakers in the area of child development and education and will provide a forum for exchange of information between the different professional disciplines of Medicine, Education, and Psychology with a view to translating evidence obtained from pilot projects and research carried out in schools  into educational policy and practice and improved inter-disciplinary cooperation in the future.

Charles Njiokiktjien MD, PhD on the neural substrates for emotional and social development.

Sally Goddard Blythe MSc.  on how physical development lays the foundations for learning success.

Sir Christopher Ball on the importance of social engagement for children’s development

Timothy Loughton MP on attachment

Teachers from schools in the London and the Midlands on the relationship between neuromotor immaturity (NMI) and educational performance as measured by national curriculum results and teacher reports on the efficacy of the INPP developmental movement programme in schools.
