After 25 years of visionary leadership, research, and service, we are honoured to mark a significant milestone in the life and work of Sally Goddard Blythe MSc., as she retires as Director of INPP United Kingdom after 25 years of innovation, research and service. She remains as Director of INPP Ltd., continuing her lifelong commitment to the field of neuro-developmental education.

A Global Influence on Child Development

Sally is the author of eight seminal books on child development, which have become foundational texts for educators, health professionals, and families worldwide. Her writing has not only illuminated the connections between physical development and learning, but has also shaped professional practice and academic thinking across multiple disciplines. Through her work, complex developmental science has become more accessible, meaningful, and relevant to real-world contexts.

With 37 years of clinical experience, Sally developed the internationally implemented INPP Programme for Schools and led the global standardisation of INPP training, ensuring that the Institute’s methodology is delivered with consistency, academic rigour, and integrity across borders. Her leadership has helped elevate neurodevelopmental education to a respected and evolving global field.

A New Chapter — With the Same Dedication

Though she steps down as Director of INPP United Kingdom, Sally continues as Director of INPP Ltd. and remains actively involved in:

• Ongoing research

• Development and implementation of the INPP School Programme

• Lecturing and public speaking

• Writing and publication

• Her INPP private practice in North Wales
